Newcomer: Wii Fit Trainer Trailer
you have to admit the trailer for this is funny
Sony pulled out strong, leaving Microsoft in the dust. Overall, the two major console giants are relatively equal in hardware. Sony pulled ahead with a commitment to the gamers with no mandatory DRM and no online checks for games. The Playstation eye remaining optional definitely holds strong against Microsoft’s tethered Kinect for the Xbox 1.
Microsoft’s focus at the release pushed away from games and more to peripherals, while Sony focused on games. Though at e3 they both pulled out the stops. Sony’s announcement of the fan favorite Kingdom Hearts 3 went head to head with Microsoft’s announcement of a new Halo.
Sony came out much stronger with their commitment to the gaming community though Sony has plans to restrict online multi-player to Playstation plus members. Sony also brought out a mass of new IPs that are both cross-platform and exclusive on the PS4.
Microsoft fans will still enjoy the games that are available on the Xbox 1, regardless if Microsoft was stronger than Sony at e3. A lot of buzz around Titanfall, Halo, Ryse, Dead Rising 3, and Killer Instict.
Nintendo came out strong with a strong exclusive of Bayonetta. The annoucement will do well with fans of the series. Super Smash Bros has made the large fan base of Nintendo happy, even without the expected extended info on pokemon.
As e3 draws to a close Sony pulls away strongest with the gamers. The roar of the crowd during the pinnacle 5 minutes surrounding the announcement of the non-DRM and no mandatory online.
Time will tell on which console or consoles will hold the most sales during the holiday season. The diverseness of the consoles and games will make it that if what you want to playing is unavailable, give it time. It’s getting more and more to what you want to play.
The system that sold me was the PS4 through the available games and the commitment to the gamer community. It has been a great e3, and I look forward to the games coming out in the holiday season and into the next year.

These awesome photos are from the 2013 Weston Sand Sculpture Festival on the sandy shores of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, England. Each year the festival has a different theme and this year’s theme is Hollywood.
“Since the festival started in 2006, themes have included Fairy Tales, The Continents of the World, Under the Ocean, Great Britain, and The Jungle. What began with two Dutch sand sculptors building a giant King Kong from 30 tonnes of sand has now turned into a world famous get-together of some of the niftiest hands in sand sculpting.
More than 20 of the world’s greatest sculptors from nine different countries are working away using 4,000 tonnes of sand from the beach.”
The festival opened on Good Friday and runs through the end of September.
